The scheme which is named " PAHAL"- DBTL scheme introduced by Ministry of petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
Why is the government makes urgent and compulsory for direct transfer of subsidies?
In LPG sale, more scams are going in background without the knowledge of the consumers.
Consider an household has been allocated for a maximum of 1 cylinder, totally twelve cylinders per year.Most cases, the consumers not avail that limit of cylinders yearly. This makes a way for gas agencies and third parties, even the consumers also book all twelve cylinders in the customer’s name and sell it to others requiring large amount like cars,five star hotels etc.,
You can ask, how the consumer is affected...?
Definitely, consumer is not affected. But, the Government becomes the loser. As per central and state government's, they provide subsidy for all these booked cylinders. The third- parties who sell it benefit twice, by getting the subsidy as well as the extra profit that they get by selling it at a higher price. It is like a black money,and government finds to stop it.Also, to avoid same consumers having two addresses and names, availing this black money every month.
About DBTL:
The customers who are unable or unwilling to register themselves for the scheme before February 14th 2015, will receive cooking gas at subsidised price only till February 14th 2015.
For the next three months, they have the chance to register themselves to avail subsidy. They will receive LPG at market price and will be reimbursed the subsidy if they register themselves before May 15th 2015.
If you don’t register yourself by May 15th 2015, you will become ineligible for receiving the subsidy amount in your bank account.

1. Register as a new user with your consumer number and mobile number (must).
2. Then, sign in with the username and password.
3. After sign in, you can find all the features like :
Find and Rate the LPG distributor, Posting Complaint's, Getting new LPG connection, Book cylinders etc.,
4. Choose Join DBTL -> Join DBTL Using Aadhaar Number OR Without Using Aadhaar Number

- Option I (Primary): Wherever Aadhaar number is available it will remain the medium of cash transfer. Thus, an LPG consumer who has an Aadhaar Number has to link it to the bank account number and to the LPG consumer number.
- Option II (Secondary): If LPG consumer does not have an Aadhaar number, then he can directly receive subsidy in his bank account without the use of Aadhaar number. This option which has now been introduced in the modified scheme ensures that LPG subsidy is not denied to an LPG consumer on account of lack of Aadhaar number. In this option,
Either consumer can- Present bank account information (bank account holder name /account number /IFSC code) to the LPG distributor for capture in LPG database
OR - Present LPG consumer information (17 digit LPG consumer ID) to his bank
- Present bank account information (bank account holder name /account number /IFSC code) to the LPG distributor for capture in LPG database
Steps to link online :

Step 1: Link your Aadhaar Number to your Bank Account by Form and depositing at bank branch / drop box at LPG distributor.
Step 2: Link your Aadhaar Number with your LPG Consumer Number in any one of the following ways:
By Hand: Submit Form to the LPG distributor
Via Call Centre: Call 1800-2333-555 and register the Aadhaar Number.
On Web: At www.rasf.uidai.gov.in. Click on www.rasf.uidai.gov.in and follow the procedure.

By Post: Send Form along with enclosures to the address.
By IVRS/SMS
Form - available at : Mylpg.in website or Download Via Call Centre: Call 1800-2333-555 and register the Aadhaar Number.

You can choose either of methods below:
- Method 1: Submit your Bank Account details: (Click here to check if your bank accepts Method 1, else open an account in the banks in this list if you want to opt for this method.)
- Method 2: Submit your 17 digit LPG ID details in Form (click here for form) to your bank branch (click here to see if your bank accepts Method 2, else open an account in the banks in this list if you want to opt for this method)
